Heat Stroke is a temporary status appearing when Duplicants get overheated. When it is applied Duplicant will begin to take health damage until their body temperature drops. Additionally, athletics penalty from health damage is also applied until the injury is healed.
Duplicants will try to leave overheated location, unless they have active errands in there.
The typical sources of Heat Stroke are Geysers, hot bodies of water and overheating machinery. Oil Biome is also usually hot enough to quickly induce Heat Stroke, and Volcanic Biome is straight up lethal.
The opposite of Heat Stroke is Hypothermia.

Tips[edit | edit source]
- Avoid sending dupes into hot environments without proper equipment (Cool Vest/Atmo Suit/Jet Suit).
- Set up your Triage Cots to low thresholds to quickly remove athletics penalty.
- The Regenerative trait will make duplicant regenerate health, which will remove the athletics penalty after some time (20hp/cycle).
