# Oxygen Not Included Wiki:Admin noticeboard

The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify Administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.

Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:

• Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
• Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete|reason for deletion request}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion.
• Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
• Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
• For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.

In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.

### Navbox style

Hello, I've set up a style for Navbox, so it's got a slightly more presentable style.

Old Navbox: https://imgur.com/ltQhOjP

New Navbox: https://imgur.com/EpAQWYA

If you can copy the following style to the page: MediaWiki:Hydradark.css~

table.navbox { border: 1px solid #3C4258; background: rgba(0,0,0,0); clear: both; font-size: 88%; margin: auto; padding: 1px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } .navbox-title, .navbox-abovebelow, table.navbox th { padding-left: 1em; padding-right: 1em; text-align: center; } .navbox-title, table.navbox th { background: #A74A79; color: #fff; } .navbox-odd { background-color: #323641; } .navbox-abovebelow, .navbox-group, .navbox-subgroup .navbox-title { background-color: #A74A55; color: #fff; } .navbox-title, .navbox-abovebelow, table.navbox th { padding-left: 1em; padding-right: 1em; text-align: center; } .navbox-group { font-weight: bold; padding-left: 1em; padding-right: 1em; white-space: nowrap; } th.navbox-title a { color: #fff; }

### Resource Infobox updated

Hi Hello, I just updated the Resource Infobox Template with further parameters for resource phase transitions. So far I only updated Dirt with it. As English is my second language, please review the argument names and update if it hits your English grammar/vocab nerve, before it spreads to other resources. Kai 21:20, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

English speaker here, I fixed the wording on it for you. The only parameter I changed was "dew point", to "condensation point"-- mainly because "dews into" sounds really weird, but "condenses into" is fine, and then it would be weird for the parameter to be "dew" if we're using "condenses" for the description. I also added in sublimation (solid to gas), which occurs for Slime and such (there's also deposition, gas to solid, but this doesn't occur in the game... yet?). Also, you can do an automatic signature on these with ~~~~. Rezecib (talk) 21:08, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

### Tabs

I've implemented a system for showing schematics (Template:Schematic) that mimic the in-game overlays. As part of this, I ported a tabbing system from the Don't Starve wiki. It requires a little additional CSS (User:Rezecib/common.css) and javascript (User:Rezecib/common.js) to run, which I've tested pretty thoroughly. If these get merged into MediaWiki:Hydradark.css and MediaWiki:Hydradark.js or their Common equivalents, then the tabbing will work for everyone. Rezecib (talk) 03:31, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

The CSS and JS has been copied over. That's a very cool thing you implemented there. Nice work! --Alianin T •  C 18:18, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

### Wikitable

The wikitable color background is the same color as the hyperlink color, making links placed in colored cells unreadable. This is particularly noticeable in Duplicant#Attributes. I tried swapping the ! with | but got no change after submitting the change, and my google searching couldn't come up with an answer. DocTabasco25399 (talk) 03:28, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

We have ApprovedRevs enabled on the wiki, so only the latest approved version of a page will show by default. The reason for this change is to allow editors to add information available in Testing versions without affecting the current information for a specific version of the game. I'll review your change and make sure the formatting is correct! --Darkpsy3934 (talk) 10:23, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
The changes have been made and the revision marked as approved. Thanks for pointing this out! --Darkpsy3934 (talk) 10:32, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

## Resolved

### Main Page issue - attention required

Flex section on main page isnt aligning properly as intended most likely as a result of a recent addition of the 'Research' link on the top section not sure how to fix. Zombieoverlord9 (talk) 02:17, 11 March 2017 (UTC)

Fixed. Unclosed divs tend to cause problems. :) Thanks for adding the Research link! --Alianin T •  C 16:55, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

### Version template

I have added the Version template. Please start using it on pages you edit. This way we can see pages requiring attention in the Category Potentially outdated whenever a new release comes in (and the template gets updated with its release number.) SchlauFuchs (talk) 01:13, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

Currently the only page showing up in the Outdated category is the Version Template, what needs to be done to make all outdated pages appear in that category?Captain Eek (talk) 07:13, 30 May 2017 (UTC)

The outdated pages require affected pages to be purged at least once, then the list gets updated. SchlauFuchs (talk) 10:02, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
My fault, fixed the template. SchlauFuchs (talk) 10:09, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
@Alianin, I don't know what tags to use to not include the Version Template/doc itself in the category Potentially outdated, just because its example triggers so. Help, please. [http://badges.steamprofile.com/profile/default/steam/76561198027193737.png] (talk) 16:41, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
This should be fixed now. --Alianin T •  C 17:31, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

### Math

I get (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex and dvipng (or dvips + gs + convert)): \frac{1}{2} on the temperature management guide.
I feel a bit frustrated with the Math extension now, do we have better alternatives? SchlauFuchs (talk) 20:54, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

I fixed the math for you-- it seems to come up with this error when previewing, but once the page's cache actually gets refreshed, it'll generate the LaTeX properly. The issue you were having with the other formula was that the ° wasn't accepted in the math tags, but you can replace this with the LaTeX ^\circ (make sure you follow it with a space). ### Zebra Tables

So some of the infoboxes are getting a bit difficult to read, such as the one on Natural Gas Generator, because of the rows have multiple lines in them. As a solution to this, I've been looking into zebra-striping the tables. I have a working version on User:Rezecib using the personal stylesheet on User:Rezecib/common.css. If we could merge this into MediaWiki:Common.css, then I'd be able to proceed with zebra-striping the infoboxes. Rezecib (talk) 17:03, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

I added the CSS. You're welcome to update the infobox. --Alianin T •  C 19:43, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! Infoboxes are updated. This can probably be moved to Resolved. Rezecib (talk) 21:08, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

Zebra stripes seem to be on "Item infobox"->Cooking Station, but not on "Resource infobox"->Dirt.    Klei_ T •  C 09:59, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

## Fix Guide/Sustainability

Bad image reference crashing graph viz. Cannot fix this persons guide, since it's detected as a harmful change.
